  1. Dubai Security Consultant Appointment

    SGW is pleased to announce the appointment of Dubai Security Consultant, Farid Mukadam MBA.

    Farid shall be based at SGW’s Dubai World Central (DWC) office in the United Arab Emirates, from where he is responsible for delivering technical security consulting assignments across the GCC and wider Middle East Region. He will be responsible for technical security consultancy project delivery, preparation of commercial proposals and managing relationships with SGW’s customer base in the UAE & GCC Regions.

    Farid is a professional consultant, who has been working in security engineering related consulting roles from a UAE base, since 2006, with more than 12 years in the ELV security systems industry.

    Farid is fluent in English, Arabic, Hindi & Urdu and has completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management and has a Diploma in Engineering (Industrial Electronics).

    Farid has an extensive portfolio of successfully completed security consulting projects, which includes Dubai Parks & Resorts Project, The Avenues Mall – Phase 2 – Dubai, King Khalid Medical City – Saudi Arabia, Four Seasons Hotel – Abu Dhabi, The Crescent Development – Baku, Azerbaijan, Dubai Pearl development, Fairmont Hotel Projects in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, Ras Laffan Port – Doha, Qatar, Manarat Al-Saadiyat Museum and The Royal Office – Oman.

    Farid is a Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) approved Security Consultant in Dubai and a Registered member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

    Security Consultants Senior Appointment in Dubai – As Matt Bruce joins SGW to be Associate Director of Security Consulting.

    SGW Safety & Security Limited (Branch), specialist Safety & Security Consultants for the built environment who are based at Dubai World Central (DWC) are pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Bruce to the position of Associate Director of Security Consulting.

    Matt joined the company at the beginning of April 2017, to take up the post of Associate Director of Consulting, working from SGW’s Dubai office in the United Arab Emirates. Matt is a Graduate of the City & Guilds Institute; (BA (Hons) equivalent); a Member of the Security Institute (MSyI); a Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET); and a Registered Independent Security Consultant.

    Matt has had a long and distinguished career in the Security Industry covering 35 years. For 18 of those years he has worked exclusively in the Middle East Oil & Gas Industry, having spent 7 years in Saudi Arabia, working on a major contract involving security design and implementation across a number of ARAMCO oil facilities.

    During his employment as a Senior Technical Security Consultant with G4S, he was embedded within the Kuwait Oil Company and was instrumental in the Security Vulnerability Assessment, Design and implementation for the Security of all KOC Oilfield Facilities Project.

    Matt has managed security consulting teams and previously held the position of head of consulting at Security Control Company (SCC) in Saudi Arabia, where his role was heavily focused on overseeing the project delivery for consulting assignments which were regulated by the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) of the Kingdom’s Ministry of Interior (MOI)-Higher Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS). These consulting assignments were focused on security, safety and fire protection government directives pertaining to civilian/commercial industrial facilities in the Kingdom’s Critical National Infrastructure.

    Most recently, Matt has spent the last year working in Jordan on a confidential government security project, prior to his move to SGW at the beginning of April.
