Habib University (HU) is the first of its kind research-based undergraduate liberal arts university in Pakistan. It is committed to the advancement of knowledge and to be a comprehensive teaching and research university.
SGW travelled to Karachi in 2012 to participate in stakeholder workshops over a two day period to advise the client and his design team on a fit for purpose security measures appropriate for a country where threat levels are currently categorized as ‘High’. SGW visited the construction site for the new campus under close protection armed guard to complete a site threat and risk assessment.
The scope of SGW’s assignment included;
• Review and vetting of existing security design/ plans;
• Recommend rationalization;
• Suggest detailed specifications of equipment along with list of potential vendors.
The contract was completed successfully by SGW in 2012.
