SGW’s Successful ISO 9001: 2015 Transition

SGW successfully passed the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Transition on Friday 22 June 2018.

The adoption of a quality management system is a strategic decision for SGW, to help improve the overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.

The strategic review audit was a success without any raised non-conformance’s and the completion of the ISO 9001 2015 QMS transition, scoring 100%.

SGW Safety & Security Ltd have enjoyed a very good business year, significantly increasing turnover and recently winning several major new contracts. Consequently, the strategic direction is to maintain and develop this success by building the brand in a competitive market place. The QMS supports this process, with SGW relying upon returning business and referrals based on first-class quality service.

BSI’s objective of the transition audit assessment was to ascertain the integrity of the management system over the current assessment cycle, to enable re-certification and confirm the forward strategic assessment plan.

The scope of the assessment was the documented management system, with relation to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2015 and the defined assessment plan provided in terms of locations and areas.

SGW are also fully compliant with the provision of security consulting services in accordance with code of practice BS 8549:2016, which gives recommendations for the management, staffing and operation for the provision of contracted security consultancy services. In addition, it assists those who wish to contract the services of SGW.

As a result of the certification, organisations using the services of SGW Safety and Security Limited can expect:
