SGW’s Physical Security Practitioner Course is a four day classroom based learning programme, which provides delegates with a balanced blended tuition programme, focussed on both theoretical and practical field based competences necessary for delegates to become a competent Physical Security Practitioner. The course content includes a module based approach to understanding risk, developing operational requirements, system options, the procurement process, project delivery and maintenance.

Delegates will learn from project based consulting and security engineering experiences of SGW’s security professionals, who hold highly recognised Security credentials, which include; Chartered Security Professional (CSyP), ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP), ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Master’s Degree’s in Security Related Disciplines. The 4-day course will cover the following syllabus;

Architects, Graduate Security Consultants, MEP and ELV Engineers, Property Managers, Security Managers, Facilities Managers, Police and Government officials will find this course of immense practical value. There are no course prerequisites.

Course Benefits

It is our intention that delegates will exit the Physical Security Practitioner Course with a clear understanding of the various processes and procedures to be applied, from conception to completion of a security project. You will be given examples of ‘Lessons Learnt’ from actual projects with a focus on ‘Best Value’ procurement initiatives. The course also provides syllabus content relative to anyone studying for the ASIS International—Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification Programme. Individual and Group Exercises will cumulate towards the development of a security project.

SGW’s four-day Physical Security Practitioner training programme will earn delegates upto 28 ASIS International CPE points for re-certification and continued professional development (CPD) purposes.
